Looking back ......moving forward

           PSAD Celebration of 130th Anniversary

Dear Members and Friends:

We are very excited to announce our next state-wide conference scheduled for

October 6-9, 2011 at the Eden Resort in Lancaster. It will be a big celebration of

PSAD's 130th year of existence and 125th annual conference. Let me explain

briefly why there are 2 different years: PSAD was formed (incorporated) in 1881

and 5 years later they had their 1st conference (called convention at that time)

which will be the 125th annual meeting. Imagine how strong and long-lasting

the PSAD is!

We are planning several exciting events. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Thursday evening will have a "Friends Feud" game with refreshments.

Friday morning will be the PSAD Annual Meeting and senior luncheon (tickets

sold separately). The afternoon will have 3 workshops and evening will have a

delicious Amish family style dinner with "Price is Right" game with prizes.

Saturday morning and afternoon is the PSAD Board election and 3 workshops.

The evening will have a gala banquet with "Casino" games.

Sunday will have the Miss Deaf Pennsylvania Pageant (tickets sold separately).

Your combo ticket covers everything except for senior luncheon and MDPP
