Jesse Eisenberg starred in the movie "The Social Network," a movie billed as fictional but bearing a tremendous likeness to the real-life creation of Facebook. Jesse portrayed Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook co-founder, but had never met him in person, until January 29 when they both appeared on the television show "Saturday Night Live." Check out the video! Social Network Facts You Should Know
This month we are looking at Twitter and giving you some information you probably don't know about the micro-messaging platform.
- To our surprise, 41% of people haven't tweeted since signing up.
- 75% of tweets come from third party applications or mobile devices.
- 10pm - 11pm is the most popular time to tweet.
- Twitter users are sending more than 55 million tweets per day which result in more than 640 tweets per second.
- Twitter's search engine gets more than 600 million queries every day.
- Thursday and Friday are the most active days on Twitter, each accounting for more than 16% of total tweets.
- The top Twitter users are people like Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears, Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.
