HELP! DO YOU HAVE A FLAT SCREEN TV?
We are looking for a donation or loan to the school until the end of June for the duration of the Diploma of Fine Arts Graduation exhibition of a flat screen tv that is between 32" to 47" .
Sadly, while one of our graduating diploma students, Catherine Wallace, was setting up her video installation in the Slide Room Gallery, two guys came in and stole her 47" flat screen tv and dvd player. The items were stolen between 11-11:30 am on Friday morning when the gallery was left unattended for that very short time period. The police came but as you might expect, nothing much can be done. The items are probably safely sitting on a shelf in a local pawn shop.
It would be wonderful replace Catherine's tv with a donated one, but if that isn't possible, if somebody could lend one until the end of June that would be so great.
If you have a tv to donate or lend, e would be happy to pick it up at your convenience.
Please contact us if you can help
(p.s. we can offer a tax receipt for any donation)
