National Family Caregivers Month
Celebrating over 65 million family caregivers!
In our society, family caregivers are the primary source of support for individuals of all ages with physical, mental, and chronic health conditions. Along with wonderful organizations like the National Family Caregiver Support Program and the National Family Caregivers Association, Senior Holistic Living strives to serve as a resource to the millions of family caregivers across the country that fulfill a vital role on the care team.
No one else is in a better position to ensure continuity of care. Family caregivers are the most familiar with their care recipients' medicine regimen. They are the most knowledgeable about the treatment regimen, and they understand best the dietary and exercise regimen.
November is National Family Caregivers Month, and Senior Holistic Living is taking this time to thank, support, educate and empower family caregivers. Celebrating family caregivers enables all of us to:
- Raise awareness of family caregiver issues
- Celebrate the efforts of family caregivers
- Educate family caregivers about self-identification
- Increase support for family caregivers

About Senior Holistic Living
Senior Holistic Living is a comforting resource for caregivers who are seeking guidance, encouragement, and more balance in their life. We are a reminder that caregiving does not have to be a mindless duty - that it can, in fact, be a mindful opportunity for the caregiver's own growth.
If you need advice or have unanswered questions, our recommended resources will be both helpful and reassuring. If you yearn to feel more connected to your feelings and thoughts but are not quite sure how to make it happen, allow us to lend a hand. And if you simply seek respite during a time of crisis, we can help you find peace. We'll show you how to create balance and minimize stress so that you can make better and more conscious decisions.
