Zuzies Gourmet Comfort Food

When we met Susan (AKA Zuzie) Burdian we knew that we were in for a comfort food treat at our Monday night dinner.
  
Susan is a great believer in simple food and feels that a menu should showcase vegetarian options that any meat eater could enjoy, alongside a phenomenal selection of meaty dishes, as well.
  
SO....for those of you who've been asking for a vegetarian menu - here's your chance - and if you want to bring someone with you who likes a great juicy burger be our guest! - see the menu below and Susan's letter to her many fans.
  
We open at 7pm so that you can kick off with a cocktail. Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. Be sure to make a reservation by calling (212) 505 5011.

Dear Zuzies Fans & Friends.. we're back! :)

 

And to those of you who may have heard of Zuzies in Astoria but were unable to make the trek, or for those of you who have a passion for soul-satisfying gourmet comfort food.. now is our chance to be properly introduced :)

 

Zuzies was a pop-up restaurant at Mix Cafe & Lounge in Astoria from July-December 2010, and we're currently planning to re-open in Manhattan.  In the meantime, we're excited to take part in the wildly-popular Monday night pop-up dinner series at Alias Restaurant on the LES! 

 

We're offering a $35 four-course prix fixe menu that includes many of Zuzies most popular & most reviewed menu items, i.e our signature Pesto Mac & Cheese, Lasagna Salad, Specialty Gourmet Burgers, Chipotle Turkey Meatloaf Hero, and Asian BBQ Seitan Sandwich. 

 

Alias Restaurant will be offering a burger-worthy wine selection to perfectly compliment Zuzies upscale version of comfort food classics.
