On Monday April 11th we're excited to welcome Marcellus Coleman back for his last dinner at Alias restaurant as a guest chef.
  
How can we be so sure that it will be his last?  Because in May, he will be joining us full time at the restaurant.
  
Come welcome Marcellus to the team this Monday and experience his passion for flavor as he teases us with a taste of what's to come.
  
We open at 7pm so that you can kick off with a cocktail.  Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. Be sure to make a reservation by calling (212) 505 5011.

Marcellus' Letter

 

Dear Friends,
 

In January I guest-cheffed a pop-up Dinner at Alias Restaurant and had a great time.

 

I titled the dinner "re-exploring the LES" because I was excited to be back in that part of NY.

 

I could also have called it "re-exploring the kitchen".  It was good to be back in a small kitchen where the work is much more hands-on.  It reminded me of why I love this job and of course re-ignited that ambition to run my own show!

 

When my friends at Alias asked me if I wanted to do another Monday night dinner I jumped at the chance.  When they mentioned they might be looking for a chef, I told them I'd think about it!

 

And I think most of you know the rest of the story!

 

So please come and have dinner on Monday 11th April to see my future workplace, meet my new colleagues and get a taste of the delicious flavors that are inspiring me for this next challenge.
