"Gutom Na Ako..!" 

Greetings!
"Gutom Na Ako" means I'm hungry in Filipino - and that's exactly what happened to us when we saw the amazing menu that the folks from Maharlika are offering at our next Monday Dinner Party at Alias on Monday March 28th.
  
As if that weren't enough, we had to learn another expression "Nauuhaw Na Ako" when we saw the amazing drink flight that Maharlika Mixologist supreme Enzo, of Minetta Tavern fame, has crafted to compliment the meal.
 
The team behind Maharlika have already made their mark with their sell-out pop-up Filipino-inspired brunches.  Now they're taking on the dinner world - come see (taste!) for yourself why they're slated to become the face of Filipino Cuisine in New York. Their letter to their fans and proposed menu is below - you'll see what we mean!
  
We open at 7pm so that you can kick off with a cocktail created specifically for this meal by Maharlika mixologist Enzo.  Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. Be sure to make a reservation by calling (212) 505 5011.

Thank you so much to all who has joined us for our weekly pop-up Maharlika brunches.  We extend a heartfelt welcome to those who join in the future.

 

As many of you have asked, we have been trying to find a way to serve Pinoy classics for dinner.  Imagine our glee when Tony and Janet of Alias Restaurant asked us to participate in Alias's Monday Night dinner series.  Now, we will have the pleasure to share dinner--pop up style !

 

Won't you come share the Pinoy spirit of hospitality?  Chef Miguel and Noel will present a four course meal for $40.  What a deal, diba?  Enzo will be on hand and offering his Filipino-inspired beverages & cocktails.   He is creating a beverage flight for $20, which will include a sampling of Kalamansi water and cocktails, which he hasn't even shared with me yet!  sheesh! Of course, Enzo will also offer a pre-dinner cocktail.

 

The dinner is on MONDAY 28TH MARCH at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm for a cocktail!). Make your reservation soon 212-505-5011 - we expect a full house and seating is limited.
