Greetings!

The leaves are falling and the seasons are changing.   Everyone at Modern Piano Moving would like to say thank you for a great summer!
Within the last few month we have transitioned well from the peak season to our more routinely scheduled trips.  We have been averaging five crews on the road for our national moves and continue to streamline our operations by building smarter routes that accomplish three primary goals:

1.  Reducing total riding miles for each piano
2.  Provide customers accurate timing updates as they become available
3.  Living up to the high quality reputation that has made Modern Piano the national choice for long distance moves.

We set our goals after obtaining feedback through our customer service surveys that were conducted at the completion of each move.   The results of the surveys taught us that the smallest of things can often make the biggest difference.    Going the extra mile on a move or calling the customer just to check in can sometimes provide much needed relief to a customer.   After all, many of them are moving their most prized possesion, even if only sentimental in value.

Results of our surveys can be viewed on our website by looking under Surveys and Testimonials

We wish you the best for the upcoming fall and winter season and hope to hear from you soon!

Best Regards,

Chicagoland Forklift Piano MoveModern Piano using the fortlift to bring piano out through a balcony
In August 2010, the crew of Troy, Coty, Patrick and Travis put their heads together for a rather unique pick-up of a Yamaha parlor grand piano.  The steps coming out of the house were simply too narrow and tight for the piano to navigate safely through.  The only way the piano could be removed was through balcony doors.   As the alleyway and powerlines would have been an issue for a crane to access the piano, the next best option was to use a forklift.   Prior to our crew's arrival, Modern Piano coordinated the forklift to arrive at the customer's home.
