Recently Modern Piano Moving had the privilege of moving an amazing Steinway and Sons piano. This move was much different from the average move, mostly based on the legs. Normally you would remove the legs and foot pedals of a grand piano before shipping. In this case, the legs could not be removed. They were molded into the main part of the piano to make one large piece. With the help of an extra crew and a bit of ingenuity the move was completed with another happy customer.
