Beef's Favorite Ingredient of the Month: Whole Grains

Steak, Green Bean and Tomato Salad
Steak, Green Bean and Tomato Salad

Quinoa, barley, bulgur and farro-and don't forget brown rice. If you can't tell, we have whole grains on the brain this month. We've all been told we should get more of these important foods in our diet, but how exactly do we accomplish that? We think stir-frying is one of the easiest ways to incorporate your favorite foods, like beef, with some new and different ingredients.

Take brown rice for example-it's a great carrier for stir-fried beef and vegetables like Beef Stir-Fry with Green Beans and Sesame-Soy Beef Stir Fry.

Venture out to whole wheat couscous and try a simple Beef Stir-Fry with Couscous, which takes a departure from traditional Asian flavors with sweet onions and honey-dijon barbecue sauce.

If you're comfortable there, choose quinoa or bulgur and toss it in with Steak, Green Bean and Tomato Saladfor a refreshing meal that ticks all the health boxes!
