Piedmont's Research & Analytics Lab is open for testing. FAeSTER. The shift is On. Finally, we can test your feedstock with our FAeSTER process, which can reduce FFA in feedstocks from 100% to less than 1%. We can ALSO also test your feedstock with liquid enzymes for transesterification. We can perform a reuse trial for either the FAeSTER process or enzymatic biodiesel transesterification. Proof of concept is $250 per run and each reuse trial is $100.

Poppyseed Market is a
North Raleigh Favorite
Since opening its doors in 2006, Poppyseed Market has become a staple for North Raleigh families, "foodies", and wine enthusiasts. What started as a quaint Tuscan- style café and deli has grown into a lively restaurant with music, outdoor seating, and monthly wine tastings in the new full-service wine bar. Chef/owner Julia McGovern is as well known for her contagious smile as she is for her famous pimento cheese. Despite all of its growth, Poppyseed Market maintains their strong values of community, genuine customer service and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Guests enjoy the new 3D toys (and fashionable eye wear) at the grand opening of the wine bar. Free wine tastings on the last Thursday of every month - Live music, delicious food, and libations for all!
And then there's the food.
Stone-baked pizzas. Enormous gourmet sandwiches. Daily Specials like mouthwatering Mahi Tacos. Gooey pimento cheese and fried green tomato BLT's. It's simple. And it's delicious. Poppyseed Market is serving up cuisine influenced by the fresh deli classics, Italian staples and Southern flare.
Aside from teaming up with Piedmont to keep you running on clean fuel, Poppyseed is also partnered with several local farms including: Lattas Egg Ranch, Smitty's, and Lewis Farms. In December, they began composting food scraps. Since then have greatly reduced their impact on the landfill while increasing Johnston County farmer Dennis Nowell's access to clean, healthy soil. |
