Chris Jude, a member of the Piedmont Design-Build group is showing off one of our new creations- worm bins from recycled totes along with worm castings from Piedmont Biofarm! Our Grease Collection truck gets a facelift... Thanks to the Division of Air Quality!
Grease Goddess, Moya and her team collect used cooking from restaurants, county fairs, and universities around the Triad and Triangle. This year with the help from the North Carolina Division of Air Quality, the truck received a new paint job and logos so you can now recognize Moya on her routes. Our collection vehicle is powered by biodiesel and maybe be coming to a restaurant near you!

 Dept. of Energy Research Grant
Our new research and analytics division is busy investigating new ways to make biodiesel more environmentally friendly and cost less. Last week the Department of Energy announced the Small Business Innovation Research grant and our application was on the list. Piedmont is delighted to push the envelope on the future of biodiesel.
