Use Cookie Cutters
Change the shape into something fun, use cookie cutters or channel your inner artist and do it yourself!

Dipping Sauces
 
Change the way you eat the food and buy little cups they can use to dip their meal in and make easy dipping sauces like yogurt dips, sweet&sour, coconut sauce or simply buy some dipping sauces!
 
Skewer those foods! 
Use skewers or toothpicks and make food fun for the kids. Try making Fruit kabobs, Chicken tenders, meatballs, whatever!
 
Use Colors
Use colored taco holders, and they can pick their favorite color.
 
After School Snacks
 
Make after school snacks something fun to do together! 
Get creative, make cookie pops together using popsicle sticks. 
Spiders with ritz, peanut butter, pretzel sticks and craisins for eyes. 
Why not the good ole stand by, popcorn balls?
 
Play the tasting game
Want your kids to try new foods? 
Make it a game and win a prize.
Let them touch, smell and taste new things. 
Cover the bowl and have them touch it, smell it and see if they can guess what it is. 
Put in some things you know they love too.
 
Get them in the kitchen! 
Most importantly make food fun, expose them to all kinds of foods and flavors at an early age and INVOLVE them in the food preparation or cooking process.  They'll feel proud and have a sense of accomplishment.

Roasted Veggies

1 pound carrots, peeled
1 pound parsnips, peeled
1 large sweet potato, peeled
1 Red Potato, unpeeled
1 small butternut squash, peeled and seeded (about 2 pounds)
Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
3 tablespoons good olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Cut the carrots, parsnips, sweet potato, and butternut squash in 1 to 1 1/4-inch cubes. All the vegetables will shrink while baking, so don't cut them too small.
Place all the cut vegetables in a single layer on 2 baking sheets. Drizzle them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss well. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, until all the vegetables are tender, turning once with a metal spatula.
Sprinkle with parsley, season to taste, and serve hot.
 ~Add any fresh herbs you like to this dish!
