Tr avel back in time to the period of enlightenment and enjoy a delicious feast amongst royalty and court jesters at the annual Blackfoot High School Renaissance Feast. Enjoy a dinner of wassail, green salad, roasted and seasoned chicken, mashed red potatoes, homemade rolls, roasted vegetables and a savory dessert. BHS choir students will serve and entertain in an evening not be missed. |

The Perfect Gentlemen

A typical performance by The Perfect Gentlemen includes marvelous melodious music mingled with masterful mirth, mischief, and merry-making. Their signature piece, Salute to the 20th Century, is a humorous take on the de-evolution of music over the past century, with the same song performed in the style of Barbershop, Dixieland, Blues, Big Band, Doo-Wop, Bluegrass, Disco, Techno Punk, and Rap - complete with visuals that delight audiences of all ages time and again. Twice honored for "Best Arrangement" at the Harmony Sweepstakes National A Cappella Competition, these guys are funny, versatile, and flat-out great entertainers. Jazz in Blac kfoot reaches a new height when the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center kicks off its first annual Intermountain Jazz Festival on March 11-12. The two-day event features jazz greats Allen Vizzutti and Bill Waltrous in concerts and clinics. World famous trumpeter Allen Vizzutti performs in concert Friday night, March 11th with th e Jazz House Big Band. Saturday offers opportunity for high school jazz bands to participate and learn as acclaimed Northwest jazz musicians join Vizzutti and Waltrous as guest clinicians. The event culminates Saturday evening in a concert featuring Waltrous and the Jazz House Big Band. |
