Intermountain Jazz Festival

Jazz in Blackfoot reaches a new height when the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center kicks off its first annual Intermountain Jazz Festival on March 11-12.  The two-day event features jazz greats Allen Vizzutti and Bill Waltrous in concerts and clinics.  World famous trumpeter Allen Vizzutti performs in concert Friday night, March 11th with the Jazz House Big Band.  Saturday offers opportunity for high school jazz bands to participate and learn as acclaimed Northwest jazz musicians join Vizzutti and Waltrous as guest clinicians.  The event culminates Saturday evening in a concert featuring Waltrous and the Jazz House Big Band.
