| "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"

$8 online at blackfootpac.com | Goin' courtin' has never been as much fun as in the rip-roaring musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Don't miss the chance to see Millie, a young bride living in the 1850's Oregon wilderness, plan to civilize and marry off her six rowdy brothers-in-law. Her own marriage plans backfire when the brothers, in their enthusiasm, kidnap six women from a neighboring town to be their brides. This show is guaranteed to be an evening of family fun that will harken back to the glory days of the old frontier!

Tickets: $3 at the door | Got talent? Can you sing or dance, play an instrument, perform magic, comedy or ventriloquism? If so, come share your talent while helping raise money in the fight against cancer. The event is open to everyone is not limited to Bingham County residents. The show will raise money for Relay for Life in June and is sponsored by the Relay for Life team from Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Chruch. Registration forms are avilable at Tweedy's Music or Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church. There is a $25 entry fee and the registration deadline is May 14. Lyle Albertson & his Strait Country Band

Tickets: $10 | Lyle Albertson and his Strait Country Band are slated to perform June 12th at the next Backstage Event sponsored by BPAC. The always-popular Albertson is a native of Roberts, Idaho. He and his band have been performing up and down the Snake River Valley since 1971. No one sits still for long when Strait Country begins to play... so a dance floor will be provided for those who wish to dance. Great country music, great performers, and foot-stomping fun. Rehearsals Start! Independence Day Concert
June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 * 7:30 pm | It is time for area musicians to brush the dust from old instruments, warm up their voices, and get ready to participate in the Independence Day Celebration Concert to be held on July 3. Allen Tripp and Susan Mann, former Blackfoot High School band and choir directors, will be directing the event. Mr. Tripp will be directing the band and Mrs. Mann will direct a men's chorus. This patriotic concert will feature the community band, men's chorus, and area soloists and dancers. Mr. Tripp and Mrs. Mann are encouraging anyone with a desire to participate in this concert to call them immediately so they can have the music ready for everyone at the first rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday evenings, starting June 2 at 7:30 pm at the Blackfoot High School choir and band rooms and will last approximately one hour. | "Pinnochio"
Missoula Children's Theater

Tickets: Adults $5/ Children/Students $3 Participation Fee: $20 | The charming tale of Pinnochio, the wooden puppet who longed to become a real, live boy, will come to life when the Missoula Children's Theatre and more than 50 local students perform an original, musical adaptation of this classic tale. On June 14, a tour team from the Missoula Children's Theatre will arrive in Blackfoot with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up - everything it takes to put on play...except the cast. They will hold an open audition and cast 50-60 local students to perform in the production. The show will be rehearsed throughout the week and two public performances will be presented. Those auditioning for Pinnochio should arrive at 10:00 am and plan to stay for the full two hours. All students entering 1st through 12th grades are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. For more information call the BPAC at 317-5508. |

As a courtesy to our patrons, we are issuing this information via our monthly newsletter but BPAC is not managing ticket sales or publicity for this event. Regan performed in Blackfoot in 2007 and was an early sell-out...so get your tickets early! |
