New Price For Boat Washes
Boats will now be subject to an upcharge depending on the condition the boat is left in upon return from fishing.
To avoid the upcharge, rinse your boat at the dock and empty any unused bait from the boxes.
We would be happy to give you a quote if you do request a wash for your boat.
The standard rate for boat washes start at $2.85/foot.

Unloading From The Parking Lot
Surfside Marina is no longer going to allow customers to drive personal vehicles behind the yellow gates where the forklift is operating. We realize this is an inconvenience to you an are therefore opening the space behind the building for unloading purposes and we are designating parking spaces for unloading only. We also offer clean dock carts for loading and unloading supplies. |
|
Cutting Prices!
We have cut our 20 lb. bags of ice from $2.75/bag to $2.42/bag. |

Trailers During Hurricanes
With our occupancy on the rise, concerns with the trailers being parked outside during hurricanes are being brought to light.
If a strong hurricane is projected to hit the Surfside/Galveston area, we encourage you to pick up your trailer if it is stored at the Marina as we cannot guarantee its safety during hurricanes. |

Easy Grilled Mahi Mahi With Mango Salsa
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup red onion, charred and chopped
- 1/4 cup diced red pepper
- 1/2 cup mango puree
- 1 quart diced mango
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Dash of coarse ground pepper
- Enough fresh mahi mahi steaks for six people
SALSA PREPARATION:
Peel and slice the red onion into two or three large pieces. Char pieces on a grill. Then remove, and rough chop into 1/4" pieces.
Dice the mango and red pepper.
Stir mango, red pepper, and mango puree together add a dash of coarse ground pepper.
Before serving, heat in microwave or on stovetop for three minutes, then add scallion and cilantro.
MAHI MAHI PREPARATION Not much to this, really. Lightly salt and pepper the mahi mahi on both sides. Depending on size of your filets, grill six to eight minutes per side over med-high heat. Make sure not to overcook; fish should still be moist when you poke it with a fork, and flake easily.
