Week 1: June 18 - 22
3-6 years old:
Cuisine et Danse - $260 - ½ day $150
Lots of fun with simple recipes and dance games! A Johnson & Wales student, Abigail, will teach in French and have the kids cook lots of fun recipes. The children will also enjoy French songs and dancing, challenging their senses of rhythm and space.
6-12 years old:
Environnement et Arts Equestres - $340, ½ day $200
Activities will focus on recycling, environment awareness, local wildlife and what sustainability means. The afternoon will be spent at Palmer River Equestrian Center, a spacious property in the woods of Rehoboth, MA, where horses are named "Chocolate" or "Pickle".

Escrime et les Sciences - $260 - ½ day $150
In partnership with RIFAC, the kids will practice the art of Fencing and play a wide variety of games in French. Science experiments will also be offered in French, where teamwork and problem-solving skills will be challenged.

Week 2: June 25-June 29
PPS: for new Sept. 2012 FASRI maternelle students:
'Get a Head Start' (8am - 1pm) - $220
Specially designed to accommodate our future 2012 students, little ones will get the chance to discover their new school and get a feel for their future routine. Let your children discover French, FASRI facilities and staff, classmates, and classroom habits.
3-6 years old:
La Chenille qui a Très Faim - $260 - 1/2 day $150
Learn about the life cycle of a caterpillar, practice basic French vocabulary and create an interactive counting book using the framework of Eric Carle's classic children's tale, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
6-12 years old:
Découvre la Baie: Kayak et Voile avec CBC - $340 - ½ day $200
Learn the basics of kayaking and go for a tour of Providence via its rivers. The afternoon will be spent on the bay sailing with the Community Boating Center situated in Fox Point. The group is led by a French speaker all day.

Le Foot et Art mural - $260 - ½ day 150
"The beautiful game" of soccer will be played in French and in a noncompetitive environment on the field at Fox Point Park. Visual art activities and the creation of a large fresco that will embellish our campus will be the focus of the second half of each day.
Week 3: July 2 - July 6 (no camp on July 4)

La Musique du Monde et les jeux d'eau - $260 - ½ day $150
It's all about getting splashed and cooled while listening music from all around the world! Discover and explore the cultures of each continent through song and dance. The group will also enjoy games at the water park on Wickenden street.
6-12 years old:
Vélo et Voile - $300 - ½ day $170
Bring your bicycle, your helmet and learn how to maintain it and get new skills, control and confidence. The group will also go on bicycle tours along the East Bay bike path, play lots of fun outdoor games in French and spend the afternoon on the bay sailing with the team at the Community Boating Center in Fox Point.

Sports d'Equipe et Cuisine - $260 - ½ day $150
Let's play soccer, football, basketball and other team sports in French and in a noncompetitive environment. Also the kids will cook with a French flair with Abby Shelton, a Johnsons & Wales student and FASRI Cooking Club instructor.
Week 4: July 9 - July 13
3-6 years old PS-K:
Expression corporelle et arts plastiques - $260 - ½ day $150
Lots of creative movement, art and crafts in French on the menu for our maternelle students!
6-12 years old:
Stage de Théâtre et de Cheval - $300 - ½ day $170
The morning will be spent learning about theatre and on the creation of theater skits. The students will improvise, act, create characters and have a lot of fun in French. The afternoon will be spent at Palmer River Equestrian Center in Rehoboth, MA, a beautiful and spacious land where horses are named "Chocolate" or "Pickle".

Days will be split between bike rides and cooking activities. Bring your bicycle, your helmet and learn how to maintain it and get new skills and control and go for long rides along the East Bay Bike Path.
