Have you ever set your intentions high on a particular goal and then 'failed'? How did you feel afterward? Did you beat yourself up? Did you resolve to try harder? Or did you resolve to do less, to give up your big goal?

If you just set your sights higher and kept going after those big goals, I congratulate you! That's what it takes to really be successful. Pick yourself up, dust your pants off and get back on the horse.

I have a confession. I'm still going to be a sponsor at David Neagle's Breaking Free Live Event in California next week. But, I'm not going to be at the master level and up on stage. It's still quite a commitment to be there at the expert level,
but I had set my sights higher than that.

I was pretty disappointed when I lost my spot. I felt discouraged for a minute. And, then something occurred to me. If I only attempted things which were certain, where I could not fail, I would not be taking any risks. A recent quote of David Neagle's from my last Q&A call with him was this, "If you're not taking risks, you're not in business."  The definition of risk is: 'the potential that a chosen action or activity(including the choice of inaction) will lead to a loss(an undesirable outcome).

It's what business is all about. Taking risks. Aiming high. It's okay if you don't meet every goal. The point is to keep aiming at the goal and to keep yourself in the highest alignment possible and to continue to seek out any obstacles that are holding you back.

I wanted to make sure you knew this too. Don't be discouraged when things don't turn out the way you desire. Just make a decision to change it and seek support for making changes.  <3
