Greetings!
 Wow-I've been sick for a week! What happens when the Universe, or you, or someone throws a wrench in your plans? Find out in my article below. One thing that happened for me is having to cancel all of my appts. and postpone the start of my class to this Wednesday. But, a lot of other things happened too.
I had the time to reset my brain, relax. I really got pretty bored. I was quite impatient to get better. And, I had time to determine things that needed changes.

Wrenches in the System
I've talked about changes I was making in my last newsletter. Changes to make sure I was staying true to my Vision. I got a new shorter haircut the Friday of the 'Going Big' Newsletter. I determined to stick to my changes in service offerings. I bought a new computer since my older one was overloaded(read: I needed room for expansion). I bought new software. I needed to uplevel my business to keep pace with my vision.
There were some other things that needed to be upleveled in my life too. I really needed to disconnect from a toxic family relationship in my life(not my husband). I was feeling sadness about this just before I got sick and I let it get me down. I've set limits in this relationship before and created distance but kept giving it another try. It's really held me back. When your thoughts and emotions are focused on a relationship in your life that is not going well, how can you expect to succeed? Answer: you can't. It's time to let go of anything that isn't serving you. That's not always easy unless you recognize the damage that it is doing to you and your business. I saw, once and for all, that I can't do anything about this person. I have tried and put so much effort into it. It's not my responsibility any longer. I am responsible for me and for what I create and allow into my life. And, toxic emotions and actions do not belong in the life of a highly effective person. If this exists in your life, it's one of those things that has to change to really make the changes you want to make. Many things are sad to let go of, but think of what you're really letting go of when the relationship is toxic. It creates a new level of what you allow (and don't allow) in your life. And, maybe it's more than that. When you make a decision to uplevel in big ways, your subconscious tries to keep you where you are. It will use whatever means available to keep you from making the changes that threaten the existence of the limiting thoughts and beliefs. If family is what keeps you in that same small place, that's what you're subconscious will use. It won't feel like it's you. But, it is you creating it.
So, when the wrenches get thrown into your plan, know that you're the one throwing them in-some part of you. It's important to recognize it and and do what you need to change what is showing up in your life. We are always 100% responsible for what is showing up in our lives AND our business. The important things is that you keep going; keep making changes despite the chaos that can show up in your life when you decide to make big changes. Keep taking the step to remove anything toxic from your life. Don't let the chaos or fear keep you from making the big steps you need to make. I took the time to disconnect, reflect on things. I stuck with my process of making changes even though resistance was showing up. I did need to reschedule my class but I had the time to make it even more effective. I signed up for instant teleseminar and can offer great recordings and better access. I reorganized my office to reflect my current focus and create more inspiration for that focus. I feel lots of space and room for expansion there, too. There is some sadness but it's better than the toxicity that was there.
This actually goes well with that last article about letting go of things you are not passionate about. In this case, it's letting go of things that are not supporting and uplifting you to any longer, things that you're tolerating in your life that you shouldn't. What do you need to let go of?
