This concise survey of work includes painting and sculpture created between 2008-2011 and runs through April 28, 2012

The show's title alludes to an inherent capacity for transformation. Faith, memory or evidence of these subtle changes can be partially found in the artist's materials. Roots, resin, clay or dirt, clothing, paper pulp, epoxy, glass, bronze and steel, reveal layers of accumulation that are resolute in their uncertainty and flux.

Kevin Beasley (b. 1985, Lynchburg, VA) received his BFA from Detroit's College for Creative Studies in 2007. Shortly thereafter he co-founded, CAVE, an artist run gallery located in the Russell Industrial Center. His work has been exhibited nationally with The Butcher's Daughter in group shows in Los Angeles, throughout Michigan and New York. In March, Beasley will perform as part of Danspace's Platform 2012: Parallels, "An All Day Event. The End." curated by Ralph Lemon taking place in the historic St. Marks Church in-the-Bowery (LES NYC). He will graduate with an MFA in sculpture from Yale University in May of 2012.
