Greetings!

Like many of you, I have Olympic Fever, enjoying every event.  This week, during my favorite track & field events, I'll probably be drinking a cup of Kenyan coffee and watching Kenyan runners capture gold.

But never far from my thoughts will be the cry of the 33% of Kenyan children who will be going to sleep without food each day I watch the games.

Like the amazing athletes we are watching each day, may we keep on "running the race" to help those less fortunate, being mindful of those Kenyans who are not strong enough to run. I keep in my heart Isaiah 40:31, "... those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Second Abandoned Baby Reception Center Emerging

This center has been able to take in and provide love and care for dozens of abandoned babies over the past two years, and has been successful in finding many of them foster homes as well.  Now, in mid-2012, with thanks to the generous support of DTW's partners in England and the U.S., a second major project is nearing completion to help rescue and raise the growing population of babies abandoned in western Kenญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญya.  Read more...
