As people look for ways to put a label on the last decade, we would like to suggest - A Blessed 10 Years!
We at Discover the World have been so deeply "blessed" by your support, prayers and faithfulness to our ministry. The children we serve at The Shepherds Homes call themselves the "Blessed Sisters & Brothers"...another blessing... And finally, the decade produced successful transformation of the children in Kenya into mature, Godly young adults... All in all, miraculous blessings everywhere, provided by the Father of Blessings, the living God we serve. We are so thankful to you and to all those in Kenya who come together to serve the vulnerable children and communities through our efforts here at Discover the World. We are blessed to be a blessing and continue the calling to take care of those in greatest need.
This coming year (and decade) promises to be overflowing with countless new blessings, as we undertake the rescue and restoration of dozens, if not hundreds, of additional beloved and very vulnerable children. There are so many good things to look forward to in this coming year and we are excited to be sharing those with you as a community of supporters.
Our new motto for Discover the World speaks to the heart of our ministry: from this point on, the purpose of Discover the World will be to "Inspire Hope in Africa's children". Hope is a most precious gift, and one we can give to many more vulnerable children. Thank you for helping us serve, tell the story, and engage others for this devinely inspired purpose.
