April was a busy month for CAS and our adoption community. You were called upon to support the Generous Hearts Gala and the continuation of adoptions from Russia. You answered both calls, thank you! Important Program News
Haiti: We are now accepting applications to the Haiti Program. For more information please see the update.
China Waiting Child (CWC): Families who live in NC, NJ, SC, & VA are invited to learn more about this popular program. CAS will host a webinar on May 13, 8pm, for families to learn more about CWC from Carol Galvin, program coordinator and Sabrina Chang, facilitator. Register Today!
Russia: Russia has new lowered fees! On average the program will now cost $3,500 less for new families to the program. How is this possible? Our facilitators in Russia have worked very hard to reduce costs to adopting families. Russia has children waiting for you to be their forever family. Talk to Tania about how this program can work for you.
News from Russia. While we still wait for an agreement to be signed between Russia & the U.S., adoptions have continued. We congratulate our family who has come home with their child. They traveled to Russia during the height of the controversy and our facilitators took great care of them. They were able to complete their court dates with little problem. |

The Generous Hearts gala was another sold out success! Because of the CAS community donating time & items, sponsoring, and attending, the CAS mission has over $40,000 to continue.

Father's Day Give Away
Fathers are special people. They usually get the yucky jobs and are proud to do them. CAS would like to recognize all the great fathers out there with a special Fishing Package raffle. For all who donate at least $10 from now until Father's Day, June 20, 2010, will be entered to win this fabulous day of fishing.
