AR-Express Version 10
Now that the New Version 10 is available, please see the following screen changes that have been made to the software.
- PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER
Patient Screen 2 next to REFERRAL
and SALES REP.
- HIPAA BILLING / 837 PREPROCESSING / HELD ITEMS REPORT
You can now access the HELD ITEMS REPORT through the HIPAA BILLING menu. This is the same report that is available under the Billing menu.
- HIPAA BILLING / 837 PREPROCESSING / EMC REPORT This option will run the EMC report without checking validations or putting claims on Hold. You would use this only if you have previously used RUN VALIDATIONS and need to reprint the EMC REPORT.
- INQUIRY / CHANGES
Collection Notes and patient Memo are now available on this screen. A new colum for HELD REASON is now on this screen.
- PAYMENTS / PAYMENTS & ADJUSTMENTS Rebill Balance area has been changed. Instead of rebill balance "To Copay" it says "To Other". there is a drop-down menu so you can rebill to any payer that has been entered on Patient Screen 1.
- SETUP / ADDRESSES / PAYER BILL- TO CODES There is a second tab called "Billing Options" that has most of the check-boxes so the screens are clearer. You will see several fields that are preparing for the new 5010 language and the ICD-10. These fields are not activated yet.
- SORT TOGGLE
The DOS column can be sorted from several screens, screen display can show ascending and descending dates.
- LOT NUMBER
Lot number can be added directly to the CHARGE or WORK ORDER. New field added.
