Drink Up!

Wouldn't it be great if there was a magic drink that could help you lose weight, improve your overall health, lengthen your life, improve your skin, and keeps you lean forever? Just think if you could have as much of this magic drink you wanted and it didn't cost you a dime!
Well, believe it or not, this drink does exist. . . it's WATER!
Here are a few ways drinking water can help you improve your life:
Lose up to 20 lbs. by just switching to water
. . . it's that simple. A study conducted by The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey measured where most of our calories come from, and guess what they found. . . the category making up the largest percentage of our calorie intake was soda-7.1 percent, to be exact. Lets put this another way. . . if you consume a 1,500 calorie diet and you cut out 7.1 percent of our liquid calories and drank water instead, you would consume only 1,393 calories per day, which would lead to 10 pounds of weight loss in one year!
Lose more weight by drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day.
Studies have shown that drinking more than 1 liter of water per day is associated with extra pounds lost and an increased metabolic rate.
Avoid drinking juice drinks and you could lose up to 20 lbs. per year.
One 16-ounce bottle of SunnyD Smooth has 180 empty calories and 40 grams of sugar. If you drink one a day, cut it out. You'll lose 19 pounds in a year! Maybe SunnyD isn't your drink, but if you are consuming calorie-packed drinks, now's the time to switch to water.
Lose up to 90 pounds (if you even have that to lose) by avoiding those fancy coffee drinks!
Researchers studied coffee habits in New York and found that two-thirds of Starbucks' customers opted for blended coffee drinks over regular brewed coffee or tea. These bevarages packed an average of 239 calories. Regular coffee or tea, by comparison, was only 63 calories, even after factoring in added cream and sugar. So even if you like your coffee sweet and light, you can eliminate over 170 calories per day, just by making this one swap.
