Successful Dubai Air Show could bring more work to Spirit AeroSystems

At the 2011 Dubai Air Show that wrapped up on November 17, records were set for attendance and - more importantly - orders.  Both Airbus and Boeing  recorded large orders for commercial airplanes at the show. As a key supplier to both OEMs, Spirit will be positively impacted by these sales results.

According to its 3rd quarter earnings statement, Spirit has an order backlog worth $30 billion, reflecting a strong global demand for commercial aircraft.
