  App Of The Month
                                     **NEW!**
Every month we are going to feature a different, and hopefully FREE, iPad/iPod/iPhone educational application. Visit our ever-changing app page. (www.internet4classrooms.com/links_grades_kindergarten_12/apps_web2_tools.htm)

Here's a wonderful tool for people who need help communicating. This app can be helpful for people who have speech impairments, cerebral palsy, autism, and other non-talking characteristics. This free app called  Tap to Talk allows you to touch the picture of the action, phrase, or question you are trying to say and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod will "speak" it. Compatible wtih iPhone, iPod, iTouch and iPad OS 3.0 or later.

  Technology Tips

Tech Tip #1: Highlighting Shortcuts: Did you know that you can triple click on the left end of a sentence in a Word document and it will highlight the entire text? You can also triple click in the left corner of your Word doc and it will highlight the entire page. Other Office tips.

Tech Tip #2: Searching in Email: Save time when looking for old emails. Remember you can type in key words or the name of the author in the search bar to locate archived emails quickly. Other Keyboard Shortcuts.

Tech Tip #3: Keep An Eye Out: Students are more tech savvy these days. Don't be fooled by just one visible internet page. You can quickly track their site whereabouts just by looking up at the multi-tabs at the top of the window. If they've got websites open that shouldn't be, you'll be able to see the page titles in each tab. Tech tutorials at I4C
