This year's Women of Hope tea will be held at the #1 ranked Japanese Gardens in Northern America, Anderson's Japanese Gardens, which is located right here in Rockford, Illinois.
Please plan to join us Saturday, April 18, OR Saturday, April 25, for a enjoyable afternoon tea from 2:30 to 4:30 pm overlooking the gardens. Reservations are $22 per person.
This is a GREAT opportunity to bring along your friend, neighbor, or family member to a relaxing tea, wonderful music, and a gospel message presented by Anne Pearcy.
Certificates will be sold for the garden tour at a special price of $5 to be used when the gardens are open. The curator of the gardens tells us that the chances of the gardens being ready by April 18 is unlikely and by April 25, a possibility and since we cannot guarante good weather, these certificates can be used at any time before October 31, 2009.
If the gardens are open and you do decide to take the tour the day of the tea, the tour takes about an hour so you would need to come no later than 1:30 pm. The gardens will be closed by the time we are done with the tea. Just know that with your coupon for a garden tour you can use it the day you come for tea OR come back any time to tour the gardens!!

Tickets for the Woman of Hope Garden Tea are available in the Narthex this Sunday as well as March 29 and April 5 between services and after the second service. Tickets will also be available by coming to the church office during the week.
