ESB Customer Value Proposition of the Month:
ESB's Rigorous and Proactive Quality Assurance Program
In addition to being to being certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for over 84 years and certified by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) for 10 years, ESB offers added quality control measures that you may not be aware of. For example, the laboratory routinely verifies any drinking water result that is at or above the maximum contaminant level (MCL), unless it is historically expected. Even though this a not a method requirement, the laboratory takes many additional quality control steps as part of Good Laboratory Practices to validate your results. This cost effective service saves customers both time and money.

ESB TEAM Event Scheduled For March 22, 2012!
Public Communications Program:
Why Isn't Water Valued as an Invaluable Resource?
The cost of treating and delivering water is going up while revenues are declining. Many water agencies are faced with the daunting task of trying to sell rate increases to their customers. How can water purveyors communicate the "true value" of the product they sell? Join us as we welcome Edward G. Means, Vice President at ARCADIS, Inc. as he shares his insight into public perceptions and the actual value people receive for their water. And John Ruetten, President at Resource Trends, Inc. who will discuss strategies for communicating with the public about this sensitive topic. To register for this event click here.
