Riverside, CALIF - March 9, 2011 - Babcock Laboratories has officially been certified by the Supplier Clearinghouse as a Woman Business Enterprise under the Utilities Supplier Diversity program. WBE Certification is the only way purchasing agents, publicly-held corporations and even large private corporations can have confidence that a business representing itself as woman-owned is, in fact, woman-owned and controlled. Key figures in achieving this status are CEO/CFO, Allison Mackenzie, and Controller, Marianna Etcheverria. Clients who are contracted to use WBE companies can now depend on Babcock Laboratories to help meet their diversity obligations.
