The NUL 5 Point agenda: Health and Quality of Life Empowerment

It's hard to argue that health issues impact us all. Just think back to the last time you had a cold or the flu, and remember what a struggle it was to get through your daily routine. If something as simple as a cold can keep you from accomplishing routine tasks, it's not difficult to imagine how a serious chronic condition left untreated can hold us all back from making our community stronger. Part of the NUL 5 point agenda seeks to put the tools to prevent and manage health issues into the hands of those that need them.

The Health & Wellness Committee is looking for those of you who are interested doing what you can to promote a strong and healthy community, and make a difference in the lives of others. We need committee members to assist with the planning of our mental health event scheduled for March as well as provide ideas and energy to other health & wellness issues that can be addressed now and in the future.

We are looking to schedule our first committee meeting, and would like to coordinate a time and day that will work for as many of you as possible. Please contact Kenya Evans or Alison Westphal if you are interested.
