Yes, an entire week devoted to MULYP! We're aiming to keep you engaged with an array of different events ...some targeting the very core of what we're all about, Health & Quality of Life, Political Education, Youth Empowerment, and Community Service. This is an exciting time to be apart of the Milwaukee Urban League Young Professionals! Please consider patronizing one, if not all of the planned events.

4th Annual "Dating Game"
Before popular dating shows like Elimidate, Blind Date and even the Love Connection, the Dating Game ruled the television airwaves.
With Valentine's Day on the horizon, the Milwaukee Urban League Professionals (MULYP) will host its version of the "Dating Game," on February 13th at the Bavarian Inn, 700 W. NUL Conference in Chicago!
Since we will be selling $5 raffle tickets all this week for MULYP week in order to pay for one lucky person's 2009 NUL Conference Registration, Here is some quick information on the performers and speakers of the past two years at the conference, and also what you can anticipate costs to be roughly for this year.
Don't forget to request off work now for this years conference in Chicago July 29th - August 1st!!!!

ESTIMATED Costs. National Conference Registration: $275 early bird registration, $325 after early registration deadline.
Hotel: $180 average per night; $800 w/ tax roughly for the whole trip.
Food/Drinks: $30/$40 a day, depending on where/what you eat, how many drinks you have.
Transportation: by Megabus it is currently $3 per trip to Chicago Separate Events in which you would have to pay extra for in your registration costs.
YP Luncheon $75 - Which is the BIGGEST National YP Event of the ENTIRE YEAR and where the National YP Chapter awards are given out!!! A MUST to attend!!!
Whitney M. Young Jr. Awards Gala - $125 NUL Awards event, formal attire, dinner, live entertainment and dancing.
Rough Estimate with YP luncheon price included, $1,325 for the whole trip. If you plan to have a roommate that reduces it to $925. Compared to other conferences that are available, you would have to pay for airfare plus a much higher registration fee so this a great opportunity for you!!!
