Something Old, Something New - Estate Trunk Show at Bailey's

You've no doubt noticed the current obsession with antiques, found objects and taxidermy in restaurants and bars.  If you're into "what's old is new again" consider attending the Bailey's Estate Trunk Show Nov. 11th and 12th. 

Bailey's Fine Jewelry will host its largest Estate Trunk Show in store history in both Raleigh stores. The Estate Trunk Show will travel to the Cameron Village store on Friday, Nov. 11 and the Crabtree Valley Mall store on Saturday, Nov. 12 The Estate Trunk show will include pieces from the Bailey's Estate & Antique Collection and the renowned Singer Collection. The additional Singer Collection pieces from New York City will provide customers the opportunity to see special pieces not normally available for purchase in the store. 

The Singer Collection was founded in 1982 by Stephen L. Singer and is a continuation of his family business which began in 1901. Located in New York City, Singer houses one of the country's most extensive collections of estate jewelry. The collection includes Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro era pieces and other precious heirlooms.

The Estate Trunk Show will feature over $3 million worth of inventory, with pieces ranging from $400 to over $35,000. The show will also include celebrity pieces previously owned by Bob Hope, Tony Curtis, opera singer Beverly Sills and even a piece given to Mia Farrow by her good friend, Frank Sinatra.

In 2008, Bailey's had the idea to start a collection of unique pieces with personalities that were still affordable and accessible to patrons. From this idea, the Bailey's Fine Jewelry Estate & Antique Collection was launched and has been a huge success ever since.
