| Rhonda's Cardio Workout
Depending on your current fitness level this class will incorporate power walking, jogging, uphill walking and an upper body workout. The total workout is 45-60 minutes.
Cardio is essential to bodyfat loss & improving your overall health along with a strength training program. To help you get on track and committed for 2009, I've joined up with one of my former clients Rhonda Wagner who is now a fitness trainer at the youththful age of 54. Rhonda knows she can connect with clients who are 35yrs and up and can provide great insight on how to keep the weight off as the years go up and the body slows down.
This 1 hour class will be held at 6am on Mondays & Fridays at Kenneth Hahn Park.

Bodic is held 3 days a week to offer a full body workout and a cardio burn of 500-900 calories and will make sure that you lose that unwanted weight. Smoothies and Fresh Juices are available after class.

I workout. I have to. I'm 54, yes in this picture and have 3 grown children. In my youth, I always had a hard time keeping weight ON!
But once I hit 40, it started to change. So I cut out 'sandwiches' and did okay. Then in my late 40s menopause hit HARD! Symptoms ranged from: migraines, cold flashes, hot flashes, extreme fatigue, weight gain, body rashes, blurred vision, disorientation, food cravings, mood swings & depression. These symptoms then lead to weight gain and none of my clothes fit me.
I started cycling and trained semi-regularly. Believe me, I am not as consistent as I need to be, which only makes this transition take longer, but I stuck with it. I was able to complete a couple of 100-mile rides called Centuries. Then I hit a plateau and started gaining again - HORMONES! So I changed up my cardio program, by doing different things. I soon realized that I had to do something for at least 30 minutes MOST days! I soon found that I could actually control what my body looked like, simply by keeping active. YOU can control what your body looks like, but it will be WAR! You must incorporate lots of cardio, weight training and diet. Not "dieting", but change your food life style. Over time, you can have control again. And it will not happen over night. Every 'body' is different and only you will be able to determine what works best.

Girard is the owner of Bodic Studio and a trainer to the Stars and also works with the Los Angeles educational system in getting kids in shape and preventing childhood obesity. Girard offers over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry.
