A
charitable gift annuity is a gift to the church that pays the giver a specified amount annually for life. Rates are determined by the donor(s) age at the time of the gift, and the rate never changes after it is established.

In these days of low interest, charitable gift annuity rates are quite attractive. There are tax benefits, too. And, when the annuity payments are ended, the remainder is distributed to the church or other charity.
