As 2008 comes to a close, and you make your New Year's Resolutions looking forward to the year ahead, please consider a resolution to become more involved in our work here at Lund Family Center. There are many ways to get involved including as a donor, a volunteer, an ambassador, or an advocate. I welcome your call or email to learn more about these and other ways to help children thrive. Your time, even as a one time volunteer can make a difference. Your support, no matter what the dollar amount, will help us to continue providing vital services to children and families.
With only a few more days in 2008, we hope you will consider a year end gift to Lund Family Center still, if you have not had the chance to make one already. It's not too late to make a tax deductible gift at any time of day or night through at www.lundfamilycenter.org. You can also give us a call at 802-864-7467 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST through December 31st to make a donation by phone or by mail (postmarked by December 31st and sent to Lund Family Center, PO Box 4009, Burlington, VT 05406).
I welcome your calls and email to come learn more about how Lund Family Center is making a positive and lasting difference in lives of so many children and families and how you can be part of this. Now, more than ever, we need our friends and supporters to help us continue to provide vital services to children in the year ahead.
One of my resolutions for 2009 is to work even harder to assure that we can be there for children and families who are counting on us for help. And with the demand for our services growing as times get tougher, it is through the generosity and help of our supporters that we can be there to help children thrive. Let's vow to make 2009 a bright one for children, no matter what. They deserve and need that.
