Zutec, a web based solutions company for building and asset management industries, has landed international contracts worth over €2m in Australia and the Middle East over the past three months.
In Qatar, Zutec has secured the contract for the new Doha International airport. The value of this contract is for Euro 1.3 million and is issued by a consortium called Sky Oryx, made up of Japan's Taisei Corporation and Turkey's TAV, which is managing the Euro 807 million passenger terminal.
In Australia, Zutec has won a contract with Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, worth Euro 515k (700k Australian dollars) and a Euro 295k (400k AUD) contract, as part of the multi-million development of Victoria's new Royal Children's Hospital, currently under construction in Melbourne. Zutec also recently completed a Euro 220k (300k AUD) project at Melbourne Convention Centre.
Brian McGuire, managing director and founder of Zutec, says "We are in business for ten years. Our product has grown organically and steadily through focused development, careful management and strong leadership.
"The company is currently concluding a BES fundraising round of Euro 500,000 which it expects to have concluded by early December. The monies raised will primarily be used for research and development in Ireland and developing new overseas markets. I'm pleased to add that our previous BES fund of Euro 1 million has already been paid back in full."
