Stay motivated through the holidays by joining our annual fitness challenge! The male and female member with the highest number of Fit Points in our FitLinxx system wins the challenge.
Be sure to log all of your cardio, classes, weight lifted and outside activities, such as yard work, into the system. Questions? Call Becky in Wellness at 757.245.0047. The challenge runs from November 20th - January 8th. |

5TH ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR | |

Looking for crafty ideas? Bring your friends and neighbors to the YMCA Annual Craft Fair. You will find a variety of arts, crafts and fine things from local vendors. Light lunch and snacks are available for purchase. Buy yourself a gift or buy an early holiday present.
Saturday, November 19, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
VENDORS: Each booth area is 10x10 with 1 six foot table for $30. One additional table is $10, limit of two tables total per crafter. Crafter may set up between 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

To reach out to people in the community who would otherwise not have a holiday meal, the Newport News Family YMCA, in conjunction with New Genesis - New Beginnings Inc., will serve Thanksgiving Dinner at the Newport News Family YMCA on Thanksgiving Day from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

| FAMILY VOLUNTEER DAY | |

Bring the kids to help them learn about helping other and join us for Family Voluntee Day when members and volunteers come together to decorate and pack boxes of food for area families in need.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to help with this community outreach program. We are also in need of food donations such as canned goods, rice, boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes and canned meats.
