Father's Day Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Father's Day !
Father's Day was first celebrated in June 1910 at the Spokane YMCA in Washington state. It is now recognized all over the world. The Newport News Family YMCA is proud to join this historic celebration honoring fathers. Dads and moms play a paramount role in children's lives and the Y is committed to helping foster those relationships.

| Annual August Newport News Family YMCA Shutdown
The Newport News branch closes at the end of August for our annual shutdown. During shutdown our goal is to upgrade needed areas, deep cleaning, and painting throughout the building.
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Please contact your favorite Y Director or sign up at the Welcome Center. |
