Chemers Gallery

Always something NEW

We have new artists & new artwork
to share with you!

Peggy Ferris is new to Chemers Gallery. Her gestural abstracts stem from the energy of urban environments. A graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Peggy began her career as a graphic designer which led her to venture into fine arts. Her work is at once stark and powerful yet soft and sensual. Peggy works in mixed media with acrylics and collage.

Watercolor artist, Julie Hill, has just completed a new body of work depicting the streets of San Francisco. Julie's gentle touch with watercolor creates an emotional appeal that calls the viewer into her scenes.

Back Bay, Newport Beach as seen by Steve Kell. It's as if Steve took a slice of the scenery in these small panorama oil paintings.

Painted at different times of day and different vantage points, these works feel like home!

Pete Roberts is always traveling, always painting,
always learning & always giving. We are lucky to be the exclusive representative of his familiar watercolors. Whether you've visited the particular site he is painting or not, you get the feeling you've been there before.

For those of you that haven't
eaten at Tangata at Bowers
Museum lately, you need to check out John Sawyer's oil paintings of our local landscapes on exhibit there! And if you missed him demonstrating his talents, he had viewers mesmerized.

Suzanne Speyer-Offenberg is all about color & shape. Originally from London, England we are lucky that she calls So Cal home and has chosen us to represent her work. Suzanne's mixed media collages are coated in an epoxy resin that gives a glossy sheen & appearance of depth. Her work exudes a rich vibrancy filled with joy!

We recently found the work of Ouida Touchon at one of our many trade shows. Originally from Tustin, Ouida now calls New Mexico home. She has a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute & MA from University of Missouri. Ouida's oversized woodblocks are quite expressive, each one uniquely colored and collaged creating varied appeal.
