THE TRUE STORY OF
DEFIANCE
An Evening with Zvi Bielski, son of partisan hero Zus Bielski The movie Defiance, released in 2008, is based on the true story of the Bielski brothers. They were Jewish refugees who managed to survive in the dense woods of Eastern Europe in 1941. They fought fearlessly against the Nazis, saving the lives of over 1,200 refugees. The film stars Daniel Craig as Tuvia Bielski, Liev Schreiber as Zus Bielski.
Chabad of Tustin invites you to hear the inside story of how the Bielski brothers stood up to the Nazis and survived in the wilderness.
