Whenever Pauline Roberts made her Caribbean culinary dishes for family gatherings  she added a special family hot sauce seasoning. People would comment on how delicious the food tasted.  They would ask her for the recipe for the sauce. After hearing  requests for the recipes  for many years Pauline decided that she would manufacture and sell her hot sauce.  But  how?

 

After coming to an orientation for the 100 Day Challenge at Rising Tide Capital, a transformational business program that assists small business owners and entrepreneurs to generate high impact results, she decided to take on the project of manufacturing her hot sauce.

 

Through experiential learning, coaching and peer to peer support in the 100 Day Challenge, Ms.  Roberts unveiled Pauline's Taste of the Caribbean Hot Sauce at the 100 Day Celebration and Entrepreneurial Showcase this past December. It was a hit with the audience. She has plans to participate in food festivals throughout the Northeast this summer  with her new product.  "Without taking the 100 Day Challenge, my dream would be just a dream" she told us.
