Salinas Arts Day!
Mayor Donohue has declared the 1st Friday in October Salinas Arts Day in conjunction with the annual California Arts Day.
The proclamation by Mayor Donohue for Salinas Arts Day was made at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 4pm, in the Rotunda at City Hall. |

Thanks to those of you who participated in our eighth meeting in October.
The Arts Congress moving forward with the plan to acquire 501c3 status and began by creating our bylaws - please see the completed version on this page.
Mayor Donohue and the City of Salinas have committed to founding an official Salinas Arts Commission!

PS: I looked at the upstairs space in the back at 242 Main Street - the rent is $800 per month - there would be office and creative space, both. The entire top floor is for rent for $1500. Who wants to write a proposal to the landlord?
