The Salinas Arts Council provides the community with leadership and organizational resources that are vital to the development, maintenance and promotion of the arts.  The Council will be responsive to the artistic needs of the community and dedicated to the nurturing the expression of the rich and diverse cultures of our city.

The Salinas Arts Congressneeds to seek 501(c)3, Public Benefit Not-For-Profit Status, and develop a postive link with the City of Salinas Arts Commission.  Seek to become recognized as the offical Salinas fundraising and advisory body. Advise the City on Public Arts Policy, and other arts issues.
