Note From Sue

With a recovery in the meetings industry gaining steam, now is the time to really strategize for 2012
The top trend setting properties, CVB's are meeting venues are setting a new standard of service for meeting planners and these are your last chances to maximize your meeting's potential to FSAE's meeting planners in 2011 and fill up those open room nights in the last quarter of 2011.

Also, with a recovery in the meetings industry gaining steam, now is the time to really strategize for 2012. Room rates are expected to rise as demand starts to match or exceed supply.  PKF Predicts 4.9 Percent Rise in Demand for U.S. Hotel Rooms.

Recovery Continues in Florida!!
"Convention business travel started coming back in the spring, and summer has been far better than expected. May, June and July beat expectations and peak performance from the same time in 2008. August is on track for more of the same, she said, and increases continue for September and October with good indicators for a strong winter."
