SPRING NEWS AND MISCELLANEOUS RAMBLINGS.......
Well, we keep trying and this time I have to say we are extremely proud of ourselves! Our new spring patterns line is nearly complete and there are still three weeks to go before Quilt Market! I thought I would show them to you and give you a chance to get ahead of the crowds, so to speak. If you see something you like, give us a call for more information or to place and order. We also have added the new products to our website, www.bigforkbaycottonco.com. Most of the patterns and fabric kits are available and shipping now, with the stragglers to follow very soon. (As always, we are just waiting on a couple of fabrics.....)
Scroll down and take a look at the classes we have scheduled for the next couple of weeks...you might see something you like!
How do you like the new version of OK Carol's Bootiful shown above? The original fabrics are long gone and unavailable. But we are THRILLED with this new version! It just looks like OK Carol, doesn't it?
Traci and Jane just got back from Spring International Quilt Festival and guess who was a big hit.....Debi Hubbs! Debi was our first designer way back in 2006, and she continues to make people smile with her unique, whimsical style. We are now in the process of choosing future designs and would love your input. Visit Debi's website, www.artblooms.net and peruse her gallery. Let us know what designs you would like to see made into patterns....just email me or traci: lynn@bigforkbaycottonco.com or traci@bigforkbaycottonco.com.
I wonder how many of you are aware of just how many free patterns are available on the internet? Many individuals are now posting free patterns....just google it! But in addition to individuals, all the major fabric companies have many, many freebies on their websites. They offer these designs to complement new fabric lines, but they often keep these designs around long after the fabric is obsolete. So, poke around on the internet, dig around in your stash, and have a ball! Some of the fabric companies to browse through are Moda, Timeless Treasures, Michael Miller, RJR, Robert Kaufman, Benartex..... Just look of the selvege of your fabrics and you'll see the manufacturers' names.....
Last, but not least, scroll down for a MOTHER'S DAY coupon. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
