CLASS SCHEDULE
Fireside Stitchers Tuesdays 10 am to 1 pm
Bring a hand project and join
Jane every Tuesday morning for coffee, pastries, and conversation. Whether it be English paper piecing, wool
appliqué, needlepunch, hand embroidery, hand quilting, binding, or even
knitting, Jane will share her experience and expertise with you to get you
through any trouble spots you may have, or get you started with something
new. Enjoy the camaraderie of this
group, and your project will be done in no time!
Open Sew Thursdays 10 am to 4 pm
We make sure our classroom is
available every Thursday for open sewing.
Come join in and whittle away at your current project while sharing in
the company of like-minded quilters!
It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you are away from your own
telephones, kitchens, laundry rooms, etc.
Plus, it's just plain fun!
Bigfork Bay Appliqué Club 2nd Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm
On January 9th,
Bigfork Bay will begin our new appliqué club.
This year's project will be from the book "Hop To It" by Edita
Sitar. Both hand and machine techniques
will be shared and discussed. Karri's
sample will be created with machine techniques, and Jane's project will be
done by hand. To begin the project,
purchase the shop kit, which includes the book and fabrics for all 12
blocks. At the end of the project you
will purchase border fabrics, however your border focus fabric will be included
for free! On the second Saturday of the
month come in for show and tell and for exact fabrics used. Work on your blocks with help from Karri and
Jane. In addition, each month we will
share an additional appliqué pattern with you!
There just may be a special little bonus for those who come each month
with their block completed!

Art Workshop 4th
Wednesdays 10 am to 3 pm
In this monthly workshop we will
explore new and exciting techniques!
Painting, dyeing, threadwork, fabric manipulation.....you name it! This is the perfect chance for you to try out

Introduction to Fusible
Web
January 23 10 am to 1 pm
Instructor: Karri
Fee: $5/$15
This techniques class will
cover everything you need to know about fusible web. What are the differences between brands and
how to trace, cut, and iron pattern pieces.
Yes, the technique is simple, but there are tricks to the technique that
will ensure success with your finished project.
This class is a prerequisite for all of our classes on Bigfork Bay
patterns. This is a new policy for
us. We have implemented this policy
because we are committed to your success, whether it be in creating a Toni
Whitney wildlife pattern, a beautiful Brenda Yirsa flower, or a whimsical
Debbie Hubbs' blackbird pattern. This
class will lay the necessary groundwork for any future fusible appliqué
pattern. The $5 class fee is for those
who enroll in another of our appliqué classes.
If you'd just like to come and learn the technique without committing to
another class, the fee will be $15.
