Dear Friends
We have so much to be excited about right now at Aikido of San Luis Obispo.
Due to the enthusiasm and generosity which so many of you poured into our annual fundraiser, as of today we're just $445 from reaching our $10,000 goal ! Because of you, our dojo has been able to enter its 22nd year of providing a place and a way for adults and children to practice the Art of Peace. We'll acknowledge all contributors next month--including, I hope, those whose donations bring us all the way to our goal!
As if that's not enough good news - - we have brand new mats on their way right now, thanks to an overwhelmingly generous donation from Wicke Chandler!
Several exciting events are on the horizon. Scott and Meika Clucas will take their Black Belt exams on February 28; Danielle Smith Sensei, 6th dan, will teach a special seminar at our dojo on March 28; Aiki-Youth demos and Adult Kyu exams are around the corner; we'll soon introduce a brand new Beginner's Intro series and an Aiki-Toddlers class; and may be teaching on a local campus in the near future. Thank you all for being part of our dojo community and for your engaged practice of peaceful power. Mary Tesoro Chief Instructor
