| Hey Friend, |
The Bible says trials make us stronger. Not exactly a popular message. In fact, sometimes just waiting on God's promises to manifest is a trial in and of itself. We all have dreams we are waiting on. May I encourage you today? He that began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it!
God's time table is different than ours, but in the meantime He is working so don't lose heart! It's been 14 years since I first had a dream of getting my own book published. With each milestone I'm one step closer, but this week God pushed me two giant steps forward. I'm so excited I'm dancing on the ceiling, but nobody likes to dance alone! That's why I couldn't wait to tell you so you could rejoice with me! On Monday I signed a contract with WordServe Literary Group, Ltd. Alice Crider, my agent, will now present my manuscript, Rehab for Love Junkies, 7 Must-Haves for Soul-Healthy Women, to various publishers. And to top that off, Shannon Ethridge, (author of the million-copy best-selling Every Woman's Battle series) offered to write the forward! God is so faithful!
Don't grow weary in well doing. Your due season is coming too! And when it does, I'll be dancing on the ceiling with you!

The movie Soul Surfer tells the story of young Bethany Hamilton, the surfer that lost her arm to a shark attack. It was a tragic accident, one that changed her life forever. As horrible as the accident was, it was in facing death that Bethany found her destiny. When she was asked if she could change that day, she replied, "I wouldn't change what happened to me. I can embrace more people with one arm that I ever could with two."
When others see you walk through hardship with joy, it makes them listen. It gets their attention.
1 Thessalonians 3:3 tells us not to be unsettled by our trials. We were destined for them. Destined for issues, hardships, difficulties and tragedies? Yes! Because in knowing Christ
