Christy JohnsonThis week families around the world gathered together and celebrated the resurrection of Christ. Hopefully, Sunday was more than an Easter egg hunt and a spiral cut ham, but if it wasn't it's not too late. The rejoicing continues! 

Even after Jesus rose from the dead he spent 40 days appearing to his apostles, giving many convincing proofs that he was still alive. Apparently even the apostles had doubts!

Jesus died to set the captives free, and yet even today, so many believers remain in bondage. So what better time than now to consider an important question: Have you received everything Christ died to set you free from?

Has Someone Stolen Your Inheritance? 

Last Will and TestamentA few years ago I saw the movie, A Cinderella Story, a contemporary version of the classic fairy tale. There's probably not a woman alive that isn't familiar with the storyline: A princess grows up oppressed by her evil stepmother and two wicked stepsisters.

  

"Sam", the modern-day Cinderella played by Hillary Duff, lost her father after he married the woman of her nightmares. When he died, Sam's father left her everything he owned, but Sam was deceived by evil family members who stole her inheritance. Even though Sam was the sole heir, she was blinded by lies, banished to misery, and settled for a life of intolerable cruelty. For years, she was completely unaware that her father intended for her to possess everything he owned. She had no idea she was a princess destined for greatness.
